Candle Care
CANDLE CARE
The first time you burn your candle we recommend that you burn it for 2 - 3 hours to avoid tunneling. You can prevent tunneling by allowing the melt pool to reach the outer edges of the container with each burn.
A candle should not be burning for more than 4 hours at a time. Trimming the wick to a ¼ inch between each burn will help your candle last longer and remain cleaner.
Is your flame too small suddenly? Sometimes the wick end up being to short when we trim it and it drowns in wax. Extinguish the flame and poor some of the wax out in a trash can (never in the sink). Then re-light the candle.
Allow your candle to cool before handling and never leave your candle unattended or within reach of children, drafts, or pets.
Store your candles in a cool dry place to make them last longer.
Reusing the jars
We love using the jars for small flower arrangements, storage for jewelry or small crafts, pen holders, or other simple decoration.
If your'e not planning to re-use the jar, please recycle it.
